Blue Mrble Yearbook...an explanation.

Based on DRAGONFLYERS POLL it seems as though many don't understand why I am doing this...Here is the deal:
The whole idea is to capture creative MINI related photography from around the world and get to know each other in the process. I want people to register from all over so we can get to know others outside of the US too. The car is such an international symbol and many of the owners are creative and interesting people. I received a photo from England today! People from the UK, Canada, Ireland and Guatemala have signed up as well.
I chose to make it a publication because we have so many online galleries. I want to walk into a book store and find more MINI books...not just one or two magazines. The yearbook is evolving and I also plan to add some driver profiles...Mini owners who are very interesting and doing interesting things.
As I love photography (and MINI gear) I wanted to make it an annual photo contest too and pass on some goodies from various vendors. (500$ worth given away via the Blue Marble Yearbook at the MINI on the Dragon event.). Prizes to be posted.
I am sure its not for everyone, however 131 have signed up since May 5th. Had 305 website visitors as a one day max...45 countries have visited.
Finally, it is a chance to see you and or your car in a publication...how cool is that?
I will be updating the small on line gallery soon.
Come give us a look...
