Wow. Great looking drive. Was that video sped up a bit? Seemed awfully fast for such a narrow road???
EDIT: nevermind. It was.

I believe you are correct after looking at the speedo.

Big file download, but great fun

I don't have this setup, but have one similar for a "helmet cam" setup that i used to shoot motorcycle vids.
But one of these is definitely in my future, way cool, all self-contained.

MADMEN Kim went on the Black Hills run. Here he is, front row, far right, at Mt Rushmore.

Regarding the YouTube video:
I grew up in that area (Black Hills) and that road is locally known as the Pigtail Highway - named after the 3 wooden truss bridges that have the road snake over itself.
If you travel the road in the opposite direction, each tunnel is "aimed" at a view of the Faces on Mt. Rushmore.
Pretty cool road after traveling a bazillion miles of flat, straight prairie roads.
I used to travel these roads on my motorcycle.
Watch out for deer and buffalo.

I actually have a StickyPod setup if anyone would like to borrow it for AutoX or the like... you'll need to supply your own camera though!

I have a Kodak zi8 that I mount to my windshield with a Panavise 809 window mount. I also have a Kodak remote control, so I hardly have to take my hands off the wheel. I took a few videos on our run through Valley of Fire State Park outside of Las Vegas at this year's AMViV. The clarity and quality are awesome.

Here are the videos I took from the Tortilla Flats fun run a couple weeks ago. I fabricated a mount on my front tow hook for my Hero HD cam.
