MITM4 - MINIs in the Mountains 4 - 2009 at Copper Mountain
Posted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 2:39 pmA few tips and ideas for those coming to MITM4 at Copper Mountain Resort on August 5-9. There are some NEW things to look forward to this year, and some of your favorite things to do still on the menu:
- Ralph Schomp MINI Pit Stop - This year, Ralph Schomp's service crew will be offering the MINI 27-pt inspection service absolutely FREE to our attendees. Well, almost all of the 27 pts...there are a few services that will not be performed. Sign up for YOUR time slot when you arrive at MITM and just drive it in to the tent where the factory trained MINI techs will service your car, at no charge to you!
- Ralph Schomp MINI Parts Store - This year, Ralph Schomp MINI will be bringing parts up for you, including wiper blades, trim, headlights, bulbs, tires, wheels, swag, plus all the MINI approved factory add ons you normally find. Tune up your MINI here and let the factory techs install it all for you!
- Guitar Town - As always, Copper Mountain Resort is hosting the FREE 3 day Guitar Town right in the Village. Clinics, concerts, demos and more....all for you. Join us for the great tunes from world known guitarists....
- BBQ! This year, our Friday dinner is off-site at the State Championship BBQ Contest in Dillon, CO. Stop by the MITM4 tent to register for prizes then enjoy the BBQ on your own time and as you like. No more over priceed sit down dinners here. Just good ol fashioned BBQ.
- Saturday dinner at Copper! As always, this is our venue for our gifts and giveaways. Join us, our vendors, our sponsors, White Roof Radio and more for the biggest prize event ever!
- Group picture - This year, ON THE DECK on top of the parking structure. We will pull ALL the MINIs on board this year...as many as we can fit....and include all the people, vendors, tents and banners too!
- 1st Annual MITM4 !NUF Car Show! This year, you can enter YOUR car in our Saturday AM show....featuring classic Minis and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mini! Prizes for each category including Mini, Clubman, Cabrio, and Cooper / Cooper S. Join us! No charge for paid MITM attendees.
- Midnight on Mt. Evans! Yes, both Friday and Saturday nights....as always. We predict good cool weather but be sure to bring some layers to stay warm.....
- MINIFunDrives - 1st ever event at MITM....with a cool ride to and around Turquoise Lake.
