I'm bummed. I had my right ankle operated on this morning. I've turned it over too many times and stretched/tore the ligaments. The big bummer is that I won't be able to drive for at least a month. Alex will be driving me around and he's not comfy with the stick yet so we get the Jeep.
I actually haven't driven the Mini for a week before now too. Kathy and I went on a cruise to Cabo this past week. The kids were at the grandparents so it was just Kathy and I. Some nice relaxation before the surgery. And yes, before anyone asks, it was the Carnival Elation we were on with the murder on board.

Heal up quick!

I feel a new chapter coming on for those who have been sidelined due to surgery and unable to drive a MiNi!
Here's to a quick recovery!

Hey we were on that ship as well. Back at the end of May. Then it was called the "We don't dock in Mexico cause of da flu boat!"
Hope you are back in the car soon.

Yay!!! I'm finally out of the cast and cleared to drive. I'll have to stick to the Jeep for a week until I can get some strength up in my ankle (its an auto and I can 2 foot it when needed) but I hope to make the Mini ice cream night in my Mini.

hmmmm............
Hee hee, I couldn't wait. I snuck out in my Mini tonight to take Amelia to dance. So much for the week wait.
It felt great to drive it again. Unfortunately, the handicap placard I have is tied to the Jeep so I'll still have to drive that most of the time until the ankle is stronger.
