Well, unfortunately I can't respond to threads in the events section so I'll just start this thread. Hope the mods don't mind.............

Looks like the Vette club we are in is gonna meet up at the same place as you guys. Coincidence?????? LOL!

BTW, I didn't realize this was a sanctioned club with dues. Sorry. I guess I shoulda' checked out the rest of the links..... Ooops....... LOL!

Oh, yeah, this isn't a fly by night internet club. We just held our Club elections (DMC), and the DRP Chapter (Phoenix) is holding chapter elections this weekend.

We let anybody read and post to several areas of the forum, but have members only sections, and newsletters, email updates, special events that don't make it to the forum, parts discounts with several vendors, and more.

We need to update parts of our website, but seems most people just find the forums and forget there are other pages.
But here is the link for others out there who may be thinking "this a neat bunch of folks and I would like to join in on the fun!"

FYI.... these dues pay for this website, insurance that cover club, mailings,club cards, and other misc items that you will see if you pay to join..

I understand that. I'm a member of two other car club forums that don't have dues but I donate to the cause yearly.

I registered to see what the peeps thought about their Minis......... I didn't mean to be a free-loader.......

The group of folks we met at the SCCA event were very helpful and willing to answer our nosy questions....... Just gotta decide if we are gonna get one.............

We got our MINI in December and we LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!! I HIGHLY recommend getting one!!!! Did I mention we LOVE IT????
