Just got back from the 3 day, 1,000 Mile, AZ Roadrunner Tour for Classic British Cars.

Frodo, our classic '71 Cooper S, made the trip without a hitch. The tour was back roads only and included parts of Rt 66 that I had never driven before.

The tour is by invitation only, and included a TVR, a Healey 3000, a TR3A and several Jag's. All made the trip without incident, although the Healey had it's exhaust ripped off by a speed bump leaving the casino parking garage this morning.

Some bailing wire, a metal coat hanger and 40 minutes later we were on our way home.

If you have a British car, 1980 or older and you would like to receive an email about next year's tour, drop me a PM.

For Fritz, 638 miles between ice cream stops was a bit too much!
