An Open Letter to all Dynamic Miniacs and Little British Car Enthusiasts
On December 4, I and my wife's 1966 Mini were involved in a serious traffic accident in Oro Valley, Arizona. Quick and professional action by our local Fire & Rescue squad and OV police had me extracted from the wreck and in the UMC Trauma Center for treatment in record time. I spent 5 pain-filled days there while the professionals treated my injuries.
Almost immediately, word of my mishap spread through the ranks of local Mini owners via social media. It is such an up-lifting experience, knowing that like-minded souls, known to me or not, are there for a stricken comrade. Jane and I have not made many local car events since moving here in 2012 but have been impressed with the family atmosphere extended by local enthusiasts.
THANK YOU all! I will be rehabbing at the Sonora Center in Splendido (rm 731) until late January, then continue my recovery at home!
Sincerely,
Craig House
