Been going through some old photos and found this pic of my dad standing next to his buddies Austin-Healey.
When he was in the Army in the early-mid 60s he was mostly stationed in France, and a buddy of his bought this car new and when they had time off they used it to travel all over Europe.
Unfortunately my dad passed away a week ago today, so been a pretty tough week for us and the rest of the family, but hearing from so many friends and family, and then looking back at pics like this have started to make things a little easier.
Dad was always a "car guy" and big into sports and music too, things that definitely left a big impression on me and my life.
I just wanted to thank everyone that said "Hello" to my dad when he was out with me at the West Valley Car shows the last few months of 2008.
Dad doing his best James Dean/Jerry Lee Lewis look, back in the day.
