As co-chairs, Louie and I both post event information here on the forum, as well as on Facebook, because that is what the DMC members have requested from the club. Whether attendees choose to RSVP publicly is their business. We certainly appreciate RSVPs, as it helps us plan for parking and to give a heads-up to restaurants we'll be visiting, and for coordinating other logistical matters during pre-runs. Some members RSVP publicly here or on Facebook, while others send either us an email, a text, a private message via the forum, a smoke signal, or even a carrier pigeon. Our phone numbers are also listed on the calendars, the forum, and various other places. If an event is posted, that means its a GO. We take the time to plan events because we have heard input and interest from members, and after we spend time planning, we hope that you will be interested in attending.
Today was a really excellent drive. Our group was small, but it allowed us some flexibility that we don't always have during a big event. And the weather could not have been any more perfect. Thanks, everyone!
