MM - Tubac Car Show, Lunch and Winery Run - Jan 28, 2012

The M.A.D.M.E.N. have once again planned a full day of cars, food and fun.

We'll meet at the usual place- The Home Depot parking lot at I-19 and Irvington Road in Tucson. There's a Starbucks in very close proximity for those in need of more caffeine. Meet up is 9am with departure at 9:15 am for the interstate run down to Tubac.

The Tubac Car Show at the Tubac Golf resort always has fabulous cars and motorcycles to view, drool on and maybe even purchase that dream car? There is a small admission fee, $3 to $5 so come prepared with cash. http://www.carnuts.org/carshow.htm

Lunch will again be at the Italian Peasant 50 Avenida Goya, Tubac. In-house ground beef burgers, salads, pizza and more are sure to please. Our reservation is for 11:15. Check out the website or find them on Facebook. http://www.wix.com/theitalianpeasanttub/tubac

After lunch we head south and east to Sonoita/Elgin wine country for a taste of the fruit of the vine. Even the non-wine drinkers will enjoy the drive, the scenery and the companionship of their fellow MINI owners.

This will also be the Jan Run for the DRP...

We will be organizing a meetup by Mini of Tempe (The parking lot will be closed but plenty of line up space on the street) by 6:45am for a departure at 7am the morning of the 28th for the 2hr drive down to Tucson.
