Last Saturday of the Month Breakfast and Mini Run March 29

Postby AKA IAN » Fri Mar 21, 2014 4:02 am

We're going downtown this month, sort of. Seis Kitchen and Catering recently opened a restaurant location in addition to their food truck. Seis serves up breakfast burritos, tacos and regional Mexican street food in the open-air courtyard at Mercado San Agustin. Also located in the Mercado courtyard is Stella Java for coffee and Estrella Bakery for pastries. Sounds like a 3-course meal.

Seis Kitchen and Catering is located at 103 S. Avenida de Covento, just West of I-10 off Congress.

We have a reservation for 8:30 am. This is a covered outdoor setting and tables will be set up and reserved for our group. Please RSVP as soon as possible so the staff can be prepared for us!

After breakfast we're travelling the short distance to Sentinel Peak aka "A" Mountain for the twisty road and the scenic views.

After the Mini run you can head back to the Mercado for Moctober Fest, a Spring-time carnival and benefit for the All Souls Procession, with music, circus, food, beer and fun. This event runs from noon until 2 am at a cost of $5 per person

Seis Kitchen for Last Saturday Breakfast was great! Reserved tables for our group, the food service was quick considering the size of our group (35!), coffee and pastries available across the courtyard and perfect weather. We'll be back for breakfast and for dinner Munchies. Then the run up Sentinel Peak (A Mountain) for scenic views of Tucson and more visiting. Another perfect MADMEN event.
