MM - Silver City August 23-24

Silver City- August 23 and 24. Our next weekend adventure takes us to Silver City. We will be departing from the Shell station at I-10 and Wilmot Road (exit 269) at 8am Saturday morning. Silver City has so many things to do and see that you might need more than a weekend. In addition to all the natural beauty of the area and the thriving art scene, the Copper Country Car Show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Lodging choices were sparse. At the budget end is Motel 6 and if you want to spend more it's Holiday Inn Express, or the Murray Hotel for 1938 Art Deco glamour.
