Made up my own personal "fun run" today. Found the sign, which by the way, is only visible when driving southbound. There is no northbound sign.

Also found snow, but not too much. Enough to get the MINI stuck though. (Only took a quick push from one kind driver to get her out.)

I wen't over to NAM to see what this month's photo contests was and the topic was "signs".. perfect for this pic!!!! but the deadline to enter was yesterday at noon!!!!

Just a quick up-date... I'm scheduled to go for the ADOT "Safety Training" on Friday, 2/8/08.

After that we'll have to start talking about organizing a "work run" (as opposed to a "fun" run)....although I'm sure this group will manage to have lots of fun too! We have a couple of DMCers with places up in the Payson area - and they've offered to host a gathering after the clean-up...

Update - We have filed our date for Sunday April 27th with ADOT.
Once that is confirmed with them, we'll start an RSVP list for those that wish to assist in the cleanup on that day, and we'll get meeting times, schedule for the day, etc.

Pretty sure I'm in. I hate cleaning my own house, but it should be fine.

We will be there. Hopefully all of the rest areas are open.

I wish we did more things like this as a club. Mini USA made such a big deal about putting things like this together, but I never heard anything beyond that.

Been there done that (with others). You can count me Gina and Cheyenne in for this, heck I'll bring my own orange vest . It should be a good time. BTW Louie mentioned about the sign only being on the southbound side of the road...does that mean we only clean that side. Because if we clean the northbound side no one will know who did it!

I want acknoledgement, notariaty, fame...oh forget it...it's a highway I'll be lucky if I don't get smacked in the face with a hubcap when picking up trash!!!
