Garage floor sealant

Postby GreatBug » Thu Dec 27, 2007 6:11 pm

Does anybody have any advise or tips on garage floor sealing? Is it worth it? Does anybody have recommendations for who does this as a service?

Thanks!

well, since the first posting, we went down to lowes and purchased two packs of quickrete epoxy seal, tinted dark red, and one package of clearcoat.

We're headed down the path of DIY garage sealing! yay!

Get yourself a huge MINI logo decal and put it on the floor between the color coat and the clear coat. :thumbs-up:

Sounds great. Let us know how it turns out. Be sure to allow extra time for drying, my friend waited a week and wished he had waited longer, cause it still came up little after parking on it.

The big day was scheduled for yesterday, but has been postponed for a week due to showers.

I can't convince Genelle to go along with the giant decal idea :-( She brings up something about resell value. . .

Oh well.

Ya that resell value hurts everytime. But if you are going to stay there for a long time then do it for you!! and Genelle
