DRP - Lost Dutchmans Day Parade (of Minis) - Sat Feb 23rd AJ

I'm going to have to take a "rain check" on this one. I just found out that my cat can come home tomorrow from the cat hospital, so I need to be here for her. I'm going to have to find someone to watch her on Sunday as it is, because she can't walk and needs someone with her.

If anyone wants my spot in the parade, it's now up for grabs! Have fun everyone! I'll watch for you on the news!

I was told there is a Shell Station with a touchless car wash just south of US-60 on Crismon Road. I will be there at 6:45 getting gas and buying a wash.

A big thanks to everyone that made the parade this morning, but especially to the Boldts for the inspiration and idea, and then for all the work this morning in having a table with donuts, chocolate milk, water, orange juice, all waiting there for us when we arrived to stage. Thanks guys, that was really great, and i know much appreciated with the wait to stage and then to get going on the route.

After all the rain the last day or so, Mother Nature really blessed us with a perfect day. Everyone seemed to have a good time on the parade and seeing all the Minis, and then a short run out to Tortilla Flat for some lunch was a great way to finish off the afternoon.

Thanks for helping to manage the parade preperations. I am sorry we had to stage for sooo long. But it did give us an opportunity to chat with a few newer members. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

We can discuss if there is any interest in doing this in the future. Maybe next we hook up for the Fiesta bowl parade or something. I must say the comments from the spectators were interesting and quite varied.
Sorry Michelle, Cheyenne and I bailed at the end and did not make the run (the most exciting part of the day). We had other commitments and that run is in my backyard so...some other time.

Nope... I want to but he cant get off work that much. It sucks him having a real job. We are so used to him being self employed. He will be there at the end of March before Vegas!!
