Well, the new tranny is sure different from our '04 CVT. Initial impression was the sound and feeling of each gear on acceleration as opposed to the smooth spool up of the CVT.

Since we are trying to break the car in gently it will be awhile before the positives of the new tranny are felt - That SPORT button looks mightly appealing but I am ignoring it right now. Not easy!

No name or decision of decorations yet. Although MoominMobile is currently popular. Moomins are Finnish white Trolls, featured in several childrens books. They live in blue houses with blue trees.

At least Smurfs aren't Freakaziod Gold like some tanning salon gone bad. (and the blues don't alllookthesame!) Blue is so popular that they had to come up with different shades instead of one boring shade ..... :P

I broke in my 2007 S on the way to the Vegas. It only had 600 miles on when we hit the track. It got hailed on outside Kingman and then someone backed into it on the drive down the strip. Break it in hard, it will run hard, that's my motto.

When we got home and were showing it off to our neighboring BMW guy he pointed out a dent on the roof.

It has a slight crease in the metal and the paint is scratched there too.

Needless to say, I am bumed.

Anyone have this happen and know what I should do next???
