Window Tinting

Postby luckiee » Tue Jun 17, 2008 2:49 am

Does anyone know how to disable the automatic partial lowering of the windows on the convertible? I'm going to have the windows tinted and don't want the windows to be moving in the first 24 hours after tinting. Any help????

Lots of Minis have been done in the club, its not an issue that I'm aware of on any thats had them done.

Dunno if you have a place in mind already, but Mark at 602-230-8468 has done a lot of Minis in the club, as well as my old truck and Marilyns Jeep. Does great work, and is mobile, comes to you.

Window Tinting in Tucson

Postby Bob S » Tue Jun 17, 2008 5:29 pm

I asked this before and everyone recommended Mark in Phoenix but I have a hard time finding the time to get to Phoenix. Can anyone recommend a shop in Tucson? I know a great tint guy in Kirkland, WA and if there is no one in Tucson to recommend, I'll wait until I get up north next month.

In fact...I called Mark a few weeks ago and he said he doesnt do tinting. He used to have a guy but that is now dissolved. He recommended a guy that does it off the books but he was pretty expensive... :x

Huh? Mark at the number above? He did Marilyns Jeep less than a month ago, and another Mercedes of an employee at my office. I think you have him confused with someone else. Mark did all the tinting himself, one man shop, not some guy working for him.

They guy that I used a month ago was named Mark, and I got his number from here. Don't remember which one it is, I have his card somewhere. Did a good job for a good price, but just one thing...he offered me 35%, 13%, or limo (5%). I went with the 13%, but it looks far lighter than 13%...probably about a 20%. Guess that's fine, because really that's the percentage that I wanted in the first place!
