First Road Trip to Sedona

Postby DogWashMini » Sun Jul 13, 2008 4:09 pm

Hi! Don and I took our first road trip to Sedona this weekend in the Mini. What a great time. We stayed at the Creekside B & B. To our surprise when we pulled in there was a Red and black Mini. It can't be a bad place if the owners have a mini too. It was beautiful and we cant wait to go back. The drive wasnt bad either.

Which way did you go? Shortest/direct way up I-17?

you mean you didn't get stuck in black canyon city due to a tanker roll over :?:
my wife & i and our three 4 legged friends went up on friday afternoon 4pm...
and arrived in sedona a little after 8 pm...we ended up taking a dirt road for almost 2 hours because of the 8 mile back up...yes with my mini...hope my suspension is still ok :?
and my wife kept saying, maybe you and your mini club can come up here
and ralley drive this dirt road  I don't think so...
once we got back on the I-17 going north we had the highway to our selfs...so to make up some time i went between 7-10 over the 75 mph speed limit and yes of course, you guessed right :x , got pulled over for speeding...but once we got to Sedona..the ZEN began...Ahhhh
would I take the dirt road again ?

Yes! We did take i-17. But, we also left at noon. Sorry we missed the fun. there were some people at the b&b that got stuck and were none to happy about. I couldnt believe it was the same spot from the day before. What a mess.

Did you have a good time in Sedona? I would love to live there.

Big Dream on my part. I told my husband Don it looked like they could really use a Dog Wash there too. He just laughed at me. Someday maybe but not in the near future. We are still working on that first Million with the Dog wash we have now.
