Colossal Cave Breakfast FunRun - Saturday August 16, 2008

This time we will start with breakfast at the Happy Rooster, 1114 S. Sarnoff Dr in Tucson, followed by a run out Old Spanish Trail past Colossal Cave Park, ending at the Del Lago Golf Club.

For those of us who want to visit the Cave, we will back track on Colossal Cave Rd to the Park entrance. Entrance fee is $5.00 per car. Cave tours are $8.50 per adult.

If you want to join us for just breakfast or just the fun run, that's OK.
Breakfast: 7:30 am
Fun Run: 9:00 am

Another great turn out for the monthly breakfast run. The gals at the Happy Rooster had a reserved table waiting for our group. The service was fast and we had separate checks, yeh!

We met Barney's mom/chauffeur for the first time and two potential members. The FunRun out to the Cave was beautiful and the park ranger walked over and took our picture.

Thanks to Barney for coordinating this event while I was out of town. Now that his arm is out of the sling, he can start to pull his own weight again.
