We are going to start off with breakfast at a Cajun restaurant followed by a FunRun to the Oro Valley Classic Car, BBQ and Blues Show.

We will meet at 8:00 AM at the Bayou Cafe, 5819 N. Oracle Rd, just south of Rudasill in Tucson. They have a varied menu with traditional items mixed with a southern touch. We are looking forward to the beignets! Marsha has eaten there several times and says it is terrific. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the building.

Afterward, we will take a run through the foothills ending at Steam Pump Village, 11000 N. Oracle for the Classic Car, BBQ and Blues Show.

This is also the same day as the Nogales/Patagonia/Sonoita Group Drive II, Sept 2008 with the VW and Az Euros.

Dang.... Too many MINI events to go to! I won't be able to even go to the S.P. Car Show....... I wish I could but I have a B-Day party to go to.....

I should also point out that MADMEN Kelle Maslyn's company is one of the co-sponsors along with the town of Oro Valley. The MADMEN have several cars entered in the show and we plan to show our support by eating lots of BBQ and drinking an appropriate quantity of fermented beverage, MADMEN style!

The event will include more than 150 classic and vintage cars, live music from the Bad News Blues Band, food vendors and children

Jon is your award winning Mini entered? That would not be fair to the other entrants. I will be driving in from Marzapan for breakfast though Sure has to work that Saturday.
