Jon, not much progress I'm afraid as you can see from the photobucket album, I've been in South Korea for the past few weeks working like crazy. I get back next Friday and the rebuild can then continue in earnest. Travel hasn't stopped the parts arriving though, there are a couple of Newton Commercial replica recliner seats and a Innovate Motorsports A/F gauge kit waiting for me when I get back :-)

Are you going to put the same wheel arches back on?

In two minds about the flares, I do like them but it would not have had them originally. The plan is to see how I like it without them first, maybe add them later. Yes I have option paralysis!

Let me know when you get to putting the brakes on. I may have to come over for a tech session :D

Breaks went out on the last drive. Concidering replacing the drums with disc.

Comming along. Looking great. I think I'm going to just fix the breaks I have now since I can't afford 1200 bones for disc.

I hear ya, not cheap. Here is a good test next time you have the wheels off the ground, have someone push the brake pedal and see if you can still turn the wheels. Do this for all four wheels because you have drums all round. If the wheel still turns you have a frozen slave cylinder, very common on minis. Best bet it to replace the cylinder as they corrode inside.
