Discuss upcoming and old DMC events

Postby Luckiee's Son » Sun Dec 14, 2008 6:25 am

Thanks everyone! We had a GREAT time! To be honest, that is my favorite event that I have ever been on with you all! Soooo, is there any word about the prize for the decorated MINI? Thanks to Louie, William, and Dee for giving me rides. :D I just enjoy seeing the different types of MINIs there are. William's right, I am now going to start cataloging each person I ride with in a little book. So, I'm gonna need signatures from William, Dee (Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) (Inside Joke)   , Louie, Jose, Andrew, Mark, Teresa, Tony, and Sushil. JK....--- That one walk-through display was the bomb! HOPEFULLY, I shall see you all at the Ice Cream Social tomorrow. Not on the run, but afterwards. :) Thanks again everyone! :D

Yes, what a great event. Everyone I go to just keeps getting better. I would like to thank everyone that had a hand in putting this together, the map alone was a lot of work! here's a few of my favorite shots from the evening.

A BIG thanks to everyone that made the event last night, and I'm glad to hear everyone had a good time! The route is always a labor of love, from the pre-run to the finished product, but is worth all of the effort in the end. Marilyn takes all the notes during our pre-run and did a great job putting that back into a functional route, with all of the required Twists & Turns to throw off the GPS calculated short routes. ;)

It was great that mother nature cooperated with us and gave us a nice night of weather so we could all enjoy the lights and drive through the city.

I know everyone at St. Vincent de Paul appreciated everyones effort on the food donations as well, so give yourselves a hand on that!

Nice pics. I had a great time, even though we left early. I can't wait to do it again next year. :D :D

Thanks Dan And Marilyn for putting together the route. We had a blast driving along with everyone. If we don't meet up before hand we wish all of you the Happiest of Holidays. C:D

Thanks Dan and Marilyn for planning it! It was great!
Sorry I had to cut out a lil early. I was SO tired. Went right to bed. Yawn. It was nice to get a solid 8 hours of sleep for once. :D

We're not at liberty to share that information.

Just kidding... yes, downtown Tempe near what used to be Harkins Theaters.
