This would have been our third AMVIV. We're going to skip this year. Got a ski trip to Utah planned for 2nd week in March anyway. Y'all have fun. Great bargains in Las Vegas these days.

Hi everyone.
AMVIV is only 10 weeks away (can it really be that soon?) and it's
time to get some stuff done. I have put the schedule of events up
online, please note that the exact times may move around a little as
circumstances dictate. Have a look at http://www.amviv.com/events.htm
for the events broken down by category and
http://www.amviv.com/schedule.htm for the entire weekend's timeline.

This year, the car show will be judged rather than voted on, and will
be benefiting a local charity that fights against domestic violence,
SAFE House http://www.safehousenv.org/ There will be a small,
tax-deductible fee to take part in the car show, there will be no fee
to go and look at the cool MINIs. SAFE House will of course
gratefully accept any donation you wish to make, then they are not
required. To get a few more spectators there, this year's Poker Run
will end at the Show & Shine at SAFE House.

Something else to keep in mind. January 22nd, the price of the rooms
at Palace Station goes up BY $20 PER NIGHT! If you think you're going
to attend and want to stay at Palace, call now and book your room.
The group rate ends on Feb 22nd, but after January 22nd, it will cost
you $20 per night more. To reserve a room, you can call the Palace
Station Reservations Office at 1-800-634-3101 and use reservation ID
"PCIAMV9" or identify yourself as a Sin City MINI Club attendee. If
you prefer to make your reservation online, you can use this link to

We have now hit 100 paid registrations, it's good to see all the eager
AMVIV attendees champing at the bit to get to Vegas.
