This little car held as much if not more interest than the super expensive cars sitting around it. Impressive in pictures, but even more beautiful in person!

"This Austin Mini "Jolly" defines rare. First it is the ultimate body style. Only 3 were ordered. Second, except for the routine maintenance, it is totally original. Finally, it has only 809 original miles. I have owned this 805cc/34hp Holly for nearly 20 years. In that time, it has served as my "pit" car at vintage races. As my golf cart at numerous rounds of golf and as my estate car on a larger property. Years ago, Brian Jackson and I used this as our "cart" at numerous Barrett-Jackson auctions. I have personally driven this Jolly over 70 mph"

I've read up to 4 dozen were made. Some at the Longbridge plant and many for export markets by BMC plants around the world.

The term Jolly as a model name was used for other beach cars by Renault and Subaru also, it has kind of become a common use name like Kleenex even for other brands. So I can see it being used on the Mini Beach Car.

And yes there were a number of them made but I don't remember having any exact figures. How many survive is a better question.
