Postby Gottoon » Thu Feb 05, 2009 2:31 pm

I am sitting at the dealer this morning for an oil leak and I noticed a new color on the color board...... HORIZON BLUE!!!!! I could have just found a new favorite color.

There is a second new one.... Interchange Yellow.. this will be exclusive to convertables.

The Horizon Blue is a similar color to Space Blue and is available for the entire line.

Yeah, I'm loving the new yellow. I built one online and I love it and the new Black stock rims it comes with. Haven't seen the blue though... :?

I am with Mike on this one... It looks fine on the web... but in person it isn't all that attractive.

Is Horizon as dark as space? didn't look all that dark on the web, seemed more indy.

It is a lighter shade and seems to have a little more green on it. But it is hard to tell the look of the color from a 4 inch square.

I think the online display show it a little too light. just look at the Lightning Blue!!! It is way darker in person and not much darker then Hyper Blue.

There is a new Black coming out too that will be true black metallic. Haven't seen it in person though.

Andrew, go to www.miniusa.com if you haven't already done so and create your own MINI in the Horizon blue. It shows you how it would really look instead of just that 'square' you were talking about. :)

the color shown online isnt always a good representation of what it looks like in person. I absolutely hated sparkling silver when I saw it online but loved it once I saw it in person.

Been there that!!!! Colors displayed on a computer are rarely accurate... Even with a correctly RBG adjusted monitor, all software and hardware render colors differently. Plus in most of the the online world you are limited by Hex color codes like the ones below.
