It's true. With the economy in the state it's in, and everyone worried
about their wallets, we have convinced Palace Station to keep the
group rate at $79 per night and $119 per night for the Courtyard and
Tower rooms respectively, until the rate ends in mid-February! We're
looking out for you!
Registered cars are now up to 139, and we have 12 vendors who have put
their money down for space at the Boot N Bonnet show so far, so it's
looking to be a bigger and better event than ever.
Phil Wicks has listened to the masses and changed his format to run
timed SOLO 1 autocross racing rather than wheel-to-wheel in
conjunction with his famous driving academy out at the Spring Mountain
Motorsports Ranch, which is a fantastic track. Go to
www.minidriving.com for all the details.
The t-shirt, hat and grille badge designs have been finalized and the
winner of the contest this year was Craig B (you may know him better
as COOPERation on the forums) who, in a close vote, beat out several
other amazing and artistic entries.
I'm putting the images on the website in the next day or so, so you
can see how cool the shirts you're rushing to buy will be.
I guess that's all for now,
see you in March.
