Discuss upcoming and old DMC events

FYI, I sent the organizers a note this morning thanking them for putting on such a great event, and got some nice comments back about our participation also :)

Hey, thanks a lot Dan. Janice and I are in the "cannot mention BEAT" for six months until we again start the planning. We will have a post BEAT meeting with several volunteers to review things and plan for a different approach to several items that could have been handled better. Your club is always a top notch group and glad you picked up several new members, that's what the tour is really all about, glad it worked for you and let's try it again next year.
Thanks,

The planned 125 capped registrations turned into 150, as they receive so many at or just after the deadline, and they still turned away 12-15 registrations on top of that.

This event is always the weekend after tax day, so plan for it next year. Always a good time with a great mix of cars, clubs and owners.

The MADMEN also want to thank Mike and his lovely wife for a seemingly flawless B.E.A.T.

Those that attended received a custom engraved hardwood pen with their name, BEAT license plate, cool T-Shirt and magnetic car door sign, breakfast in Wickenburg, snack bag, car care sample pack, lunch in Prescott on Whiskey Row and happy hour in Flagstaff.

The tour participants were friendly and very proud of their cars, British or not.

There was one classic Mini on the tour a 1966? probably 1993 black beauty.

I hopped in a Jaguar for one leg of the tour, although the owner wasn't too happy!

We are looking to do it again next year in a classic!

Hey, I sent an email to Mike aka "koolkat" @ the BEAT and he said that because of the amount of photos taken of the event, photos should be posted maybe next week.
Meanwhile, he provided this website as part of the tour in Clarkdale AZ.

It even has music to go with it. :)
