Photo radar defender

This has to be one of the coolest defenders of the Photoradar I have seen. It is a very thin peice of highly polished steel (or something ) about the thickness of a credit card. In the shape of a sharks tail.. ( just for looks i gather.. a square peice would be more goofy looking ) when you look at it streight on it cant be seen.. looks like a very thin black line down the center.. but from a side view... you cant make out the full plate. I was close up for the picture.. but if you step away, especially from the distance of the camera from the side, you cant see the left side of the plate at all....GENIOUS I SAY !!! I highlighted the second shot in red to make it more visable...

What's the legality of that thing? If you have MCSO riding on your butt and they see it, can they do anything?

Is it legal? You can decide for yourself if you'd like to be our test case:

28-2354. License plates

A. A person shall display the license plate or plates as follows:
1. For a motor vehicle, motorcycle, trailer or semitrailer, on the rear.
2. For a vehicle for which two license plates are issued, the vehicle owner shall display either of the following:
(a) One plate on the rear.
(b) One plate on the front and one plate on the rear.

B. A person shall display all license plates as required by subsection A until their lawful use expires or is canceled or revoked. A person shall maintain each license plate so it is clearly legible and so that the name of this state at the top of the license plate is not obscured. A person shall securely fasten each license plate to the vehicle as follows:
1. To prevent the plate from swinging.
2. At a height of at least twelve inches from the ground to the bottom of the plate.
3. In a position to be clearly visible.

Ha. No thanks, Jose. These parts are where it's very open for interpretation. I, however, don't have the time or patience to argue with a court. Besides, that thing just looks silly.
