Hello all,

My name is Frank and I live in Goodyear. I am new to this forum and looking to get a classic Mini.
I want to find a project car that I can work on with my daughter. She turns 16 next year and I think this would be a good opportunity to get some grease under her nails before she hits the road.
Any advice would be appreciated. Things to watch out for?
Looking for 60's 70's Mini that runs and needs work.
Happy motoring.

Welcome Frank! I fairly new to DMC as well and can't provide much assistance with your question, but I'm sure there will be someone along shortly with some suggestions.

A group of us are heading to Jerome today for a run, so it might be a bit before they get back and read the board, though! :)

Again, welcome and hope to see you at an event soon!

Man if you had posted this about 3 weeks ago there was a MINI for sale on the west side up near me but I think it has been sold.

I own a Classic Mini Pickup and there are several members around the valley with classic that would be happy to help you with questions on them. I'm always available as well if you have any classic questions.

Welcome BTW :D
Still driving a Mini. No matter the cost.
