 You just never know!! We can stack 2 high in the other garage!

Actually, the free tickets and breakfast for Saturday the 23rd was more the incentive. Saves 100.00

LUNCH 411

We have a very large group so we are going to The Artist's Palate where we can get everyone inside for lunch at 12:15PM. (Weather forecast is iffy for Saturday.)

Dean Fey the owner is offering 2 lunch specials for us: Sonoran Taco Salad and Steak Gorgonzola Sandwich @ $8.99 each. By ordering one of the specials, we can get served in a reasonable amount of time and be on are way to the next stop on the FunRun.

The Artist's Palate is located at 40 Avenida Goya, which is one road south of the main entrance to the Tubac Village. We will have maps to hand out at the car show.

I will attempt to contact those who have RSVP'd by email with this same information.

The Artist's Palate
40 Avenida Goya
in the De Anza Plaza
Tubac AZ 85646
520-398-3333

You are also free to have lunch on your own in Tubac.

SO.......... I need to have your lunch selection by Wednesday morning. Yes, this is a commitment to pay for lunch. Please send your reply to TucsonMinis@gmail.com

Hope you can join us.

Note from the Car Show website for those wondering about the weather impact:

"The show WILL GO ON as scheduled. Show cars will park on paved resort parking lot. See you there!" - http://www.carnuts.org/

According to the forecast most of the rain should be out of our travel area by early morning, 6-7AM, and Sunny/partly cloudy by 9am and the rest of the day. High temps still in the low 50s though, so dress warm :)

See you all tomorrow!

I was going to send this, but Dan beat me too it. Oh, what the heck..........

Update from the Tubac Car Show:

"The Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts Car Show is ON!
Venue is relocated to the Tubac Golf Resort
main parking lot (all paved) as the practice
green is just too wet. "

We expect a smaller show, but that will give us more time to check out the shops and galleries in Tubac. Right now we have blue skies with snow capping the Catalina Mountains. Weatherman says,"Chance of rain in the morning. Clearing with sun in the afternoon. Cool, with temps in the 50's"

Don't forget to charge your radios tonight! Channel 7.21

So, we will see everyone at the Home Depot tomorrow morning at 9:00 am!!!!! (There are several places to get your morning coffee in the Home Depot plaza.)

Meet Up with the MADMEN: 9:00 am -Home Depot on the SW corner of Irvington Rd and I-19, Tucson. Assemble in the parking area just south of the Chevron station.

Depart: 9:16 am
South on I-19 to Exit 40.
Left to Frontage Rd
Right on Frontage Rd
Go south about 2 miles and turn left into the Tubac Golf Resort.

Lunch: 12:15 Artist's Palate
