FYI, below is the initial information on this years 13th Annual, British Euro Auto Tour!
A number of us from the DMC have attended this event over the years and I hope many of you will choose to again this year! It's a great time on the road with all makes, models and years of British and European cars.
The BEAT is a really fun overnight event that starts in Phoenix and loops around the state, spending Saturday night in the Flagstaff area, and then returning to the valley on Sunday. Below is a link to the 2009 thread from last years event that has a few pictures and review of the event from our members, and the latest update from the organizers from the event is also below.
2009 BEAT Tour Link
I'll update this thread as we receive more information on the event as the date draws nearer. Be aware though that the event is capped at 150 cars, so register as soon as you decide you want to go as it WILL sell out!

Subject: BEAT Registration 2010
Greetings. First of all Janice & I would like to wish everyone a Merry
Christmas, joyful Hanukkah and a great New Year.
With a new web site, laid out by Dave Riddle, who has spent countless hours putting pictures, videos and the latest online registration together, we are very thankful for His efforts. Since this is the first time registration can be filled out online, there may be some bugs to hamper a smooth process so any suggestions or comments, just let me know.
Janice & I have been involved in contacting all the vendors that we do business with to be sure the 2010 event will be smooth, efficient and as much fun as we can plan. With State budgets being what they are and revenues down in all the cities we visit, each of the cities we visit have increased their fees for their services. Prescott has gone from using City personnel to outside vendors for their City activities. So with these increases our registration fee for 2010 has increased to $125.00. I have been working with State personnel at Dead Horse Park in Cottonwood for using their facilities and am waiting to see how the State budget will affect this park.
As always, these things take a bit of planning and negotiating to get everything in order. A quality event for you is what we strive for. Stay tuned for developments.
As I have done in years past, when invited, I have attended car club meetings to answer questions and invite new drivers to our tour. If you would like me to attend your meeting, just let me know and we will see how schedules come together. Previous years I've attended meetings held by the Alfa, Porsche, Triumph, Rolls Royce & Jaguar Clubs to name a few. Also, if you could pass this message to your Club's news editor or web site manager for their inclusion on their events calendar we would appreciate it. An easy way to remember when the tour takes off, it's always the weekend after taxes are due. For 2010, it's April 17th & 18th. Remember, registration is limited to the first 150 vehicles or March 22, 2010 which ever comes first. We need that deadline for planning, printing and general organization.
Any questions, let us know. Oh - by the way - I changed email addresses, it's correct on the web site but please make any necessary changes.
Thanks for your participation,
Mike & Janice Goodwin & KoolKat
