Andrew took some cool video, he posted it on his facebook, hopefully he'll link it here too.

My wife admitted that it was a lot more fun than she had expected it to be. It was good to put names to some faces.

Hi, everyone... I will be posting a link to my photos very soon... I have been under the weather since getting back to the Valley on Sunday afternoon, but should be back to my perky self in no time. :drive

For those who missed my pitch at the end of the run, if you have a special photo, story, or memory from the trip that is too good to keep to yourself, please consider sending me a PM so that I might include it in the newsletter. I really want to get the newsletter off the ground in 2-3 months, and it can't happen without your input. Let's share those Twist & Shout memories with everyone!!

:jammin Thanks to Dan and Marilyn for piloting MINITYM in the lead car position all weekend.... a brave endeavor, indeed. 8)

Another thumbs-up to all the new members who braved AZ-666 / 191 as their very first DMC fun run! We should've had gold stars for you folks! :thumbs-up:

And finally, if you haven't given a pat on the back to your steel-stomached co-pilots & navigators, make sure you do. That drive is rougher from their seat. :hfive

What a great weekend. The runs, the Holiday Inn, Grumpy Jakes, fellow MINI-acs, the weather. And for those who hadn't heard, the El Paso folks were totally blown away by the DMC/DRP organization of the weekend. And this Arizona boy got to see parts of this state I've never seen before.

Thanks especially to Dan, Marilyn and Michelle for putting it all together.

Thanks to all who post photos; I'm still technically challenged in that regard so enjoy seeing yours.

Sad, sad stuff to see what is happening in this area...

I sent an email of support to the Hannagan Meadow Lodge staff who were evacuated from the area last week.
Hope for the best for everyone who lives and works in the area, and especially to the fire fighters.

I fear the area wont look like this for awhile again...
