TV Watch - Wheeler Dealers

Postby Cooperesque » Thu Mar 24, 2011 5:37 am

Wheeler Dealers is a doing a classic mini flip project. The mini runs well but features lots of rust. This show is on the HD Theater channel. I started watching but ended up letting the DVR do its thing for later viewing. The show is from Britain, so expect terms such as spanners and cheeky to be applied liberally. The show will be on again at midnight, tomorrow (3/24) and on 4/5 at least here in Comcast land.

Hehe, yeah, the sales guy is kinda annoying, so seems like everyone likes Ed cuz he reminds us of Louie? hehe...

Twins seperated at birth

I don't mind Mike much (the sales guy) What I don't like is how they put absolutely no value on their time and labor. They think they made a profit if they sell the car for more than parts invested but what about those 40 hours of 'spanner time'?

The new Discovery channel show "Desert car Kings" seems to do the same thing. (filmmed right here in the valley btw)

Yeah but at least with Desert car kings they don't think every car is worth 5 million dollars.
