I was hoping to try and work something out for MITM, but not sure yet.

I'm about a 50/50 chance at the moment. Will probably know better next month.

we registered and booked...we are in the hotel starting thurs we probably leave sometime Wed and stop part way...or really early Thurs and drive thru?????

So many gorgeous ways to make that drive up, can't really go wrong. That Chama area is awesome and have done that train trip as well. We have usually gone up to Pagosa Springs and stayed in that area and then made the rest of the drive in the next day.

I'm a "probably". I haven't registered yet, or reserved a hotel room. A lot depends on what happens with the price of gas in the next few months, but unless it skyrockets, I will likely be going....

Also, I'd like to share a room at the hotel(s) if there's another ones-y looking to save some $$$ on the hotel bills.

We (DJ and Susan) plan on attending MITM; however, I haven't registered yet, or reserved a hotel room either, but plan to this week. We will depart from Gilbert and take the route through Flagstaff and north, stopping overnight TBD, and into Winter Park Thursday afternoon. We have family in the Denver area, so we will be hanging out in the area and departing on the 10th.

I'm officially switching from "maybe" to "definitely". Registered a couple days ago.

I'm planning on leaving PHX stoopid early Weds. morning, though I might consider leaving Tuesday afternoon and finding a cheap hotel in Holbrook or Gallup along this route

My planned route on the way back goes past Four Corners.

I'm still looking for someone to split the hotel room with. I have a Mountain View room reserved with dual-queen beds at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge from Weds. night through Sat. night.

Updated route plan leaving mid-morning Tuesday going through Four Corners, camping in Cortez, then on to Winter Park via Leadville and Climax on Wednesday.
