Biodiesel

I've been out of the MINI news loop for ages. Has anyone heard of MINI attempting a Biodiesel model? Since I'm driving to and from work so much, I really want to get something a little bit better environment wise.

MINI has a Diesel model in Europe. from what I've heard they didn't bring it to america because it doesn't pass our regulations and it would cost too much to re-design the engine so that it will.

However with the next generation comming soon I'm guessing that the idea may be back on the table.

Thanks. Yea, I knew of the diesel one but didn't know if there were any rumors on biodiesel. I guess time will tell. :)
