Please come out and join us on Saturday, September 24th for a picnic lunch run to the top of Mt. Graham! The road to the top is a very fun, twisty one with no guard rails so bring your A game for this! while we're on the subject of what to bring, here's a few other sugestions:
1. As always, bring your GMRS radios so we can comunicate with each other.
2. Definately bring a full tank of gas! our meeting spot at the base of the mountain where the 3 chapters will converge does not carry premium gas!
3. Folding chairs: Seating will be very limited if at all so bring something to plant your hiney on when we get there.
4. Food and drink: our meeting spot at the base does have a deli, soft serve icecream, soda, chips, snacks, grocery etc. So anybody needing to pick up last minute provisions for a picnic should be fine there if they forgot something.
5. Cash: there is a use fee for the picnic area, I think its supposed to be $5 per car, we have always fudged and not really paid for ALL of the cars and the forest service folks are always cool about it because we are only there for a short time, we crowd into the area we use and all that good stuff but folks should bring a little cash in small bills if we have to pay or to chip in.
6. A friendly attitude: We're here to have fun!
Individual chapters will be meeting as follows:
MADMEN: You are having your "Last Saturday Breakfast" meet that morning, details to come. You will be leaving to the run from the breakfast location.
SV MiNis: Your details are still in the works and will be posted
Desert Rat Pack: You will be meeting at the new Eastside launch site at 8:00am;
Dutch Bros.
722 North McQueen St.

Please be gassed up and ready to go by 8:30! There is a Valero in the parking lot and a Chevron and Shell apx a mile West from there.
We will be motoring out the 60 E. through Globe and then take Hwy 70 to Safford and then down to Mt. Graham on the 191.
