Just got this in an email from MiniUSA, mixed in with a bunch of other news items.

So the first official announcement from MiniUSA came this week, confirming the dates, starting Wednesday July 4th on the East Coast and finishing Sunday July 15th on the West Coast, cities as yet un-announced.

Official tagline: GoForth, Go West, Go MINI.

MC2 Magazine posted some possible tidbits of info, with noting there will be eleven cities as major stop-overs and of those five are new to the MTTS.

MINI USA is about to release the route for MINI Takes the States but we have the route for you today. As previously reported, MTTS 2012 will run from Jul 4th to July 15th and the cross-country rally will go from the East Coast to West Coast. Here are the specific dates and cities along the route:

Great job by all the volunteers that worked on the DMC pit stop on the route from Abq to Phx on Friday!
