DRP - Haunted Jerome Fun Run (October 13th)

Fall is here and you know what that means: it’s time for the DRP Fun Run to Jerome!
Jerome was once known as the “wickedest town in the West.” It’s not as wicked as it once was but what it lost in wickedness it’s made up for by being super spooky. What better time to spot a ghost than around Halloween time? If you’re not lucky enough to see spot a specter maybe you’ll see something even more rare: fall foliage.

We’ll be combining this run with our annual DRP meeting. You’ll get a chance to meet the new DRP Co-Chairs and discuss any club business that you have on your mind or give just them a high-five.
Meet-up Information Saturday morning:

Meet Location: Shell in Wickenburg (2nd Shell as you come into town)
Address: 530 E Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390

Arrive by: 8AM
DRP Meeting Starts: 8:15AM (Introduce CoChairs/Chapter Business)
Departure: 8:30AM (Approximate departure following drivers meeting/DRP Meeting)
Please be gassed up and ready to go at 8:30!

Route will take us up Yarnell Hill and into Prescott for our first stop at the Safeway as you come into town. Bathroom break, chat, head for Jerome in time for lunch around 11AM. Bring your appetite because Jerome has some great restaurants; everything from tasty hamburgers at “The Haunted Hamburger” to something a little fancier at “The Asylum” at the famous (and haunted!) Jerome Grand Hotel.

Did a preRun this last weekend (Can't make the actual trip) - Roads were clear of any construction or issues and the weather should be great this weekend!

Do we have any estimated time for returning to the Valey? I have plans later, but I would really like to enjoy this run.

My best guess is around 3:00. You could skip the last stop at Rock Springs Cafe for pie if you need to get back to town sooner.
